With a large built-in ink reservoir, you get more impressions than most self-inking stamps before needing to add more oil-based ink. The use of a separate ink pad is not required! The oil-based ink is resistant to water and dries fast (15-30seconds) on most surfaces. Only use pre-inked oil-based fluid when re-inking Shiny Premier stamps
